The phenomenon of the Kpop in Chile.

The phenomenon of the Kpop in Chile.

I´ve chosen this topic because it has been much attention and importance in the last months in national media, tv programs and national newspapers.
I´ve been part of this world for 6 years approximately but in this year has been much attention for the ordinary people.
The KPOP was born in South Korean in the 90’s and now the fans from the rest of the world have grown a lot, especially in Latin America and Chile.
The KPOP fandom is different from other fans because it is formed by teenegers and young people and the fans realy realy realy love the Idols.
This topic is important because the kpop has changed to a new generation like a “POKEMONES” in the 2000’s.  The teenegers changed they interact with their bodys and their stereotypes of beauty and their relationship with the consumer and social networks is huge.
The new generation and its relationship with consumption of entertainment it’s different for previous years, because the kpop idols give you everything, give music and songs, give dance choreography, give photos, give differents ways to communicate with the fans through social networks ( twitter, facebook, instagram, Vlive, kakao, official website, etc… )
The last concerts of kpop bands in Chile has been common that the tickets sold out in hours.
The phenomenon of Kpop has grown so much that even one band will be present this year at the Teletón.
I hope that the Korean wave is not just a momentary style and lasts for several more years.

Master in Korea

Since last year I am thinking that I do with my life and I decided to study cinema in South Korea and specialize in production. I decided that because in recent year I have been close to korean culture, movies and Kdramas (korean dramas).
Analyzing the Korean audiovisual works is that I was able to realize the high quality of these and the large amount money with witch it works.
I decided learn to that because in Chile film industry is so small and very poor, personal contacts are more important than the talent or ability.
I want to go to Korea by the year 2020 to study a master, master in cinema ( direction and production ) at the Korean National University of Arts or study a master in production in Busan Asian Film School, for the two master need an intermediate level of hangul ( Korean language) with the TOPIK   and a high level of english ( not certified but if a personal interview ). I´m working hard for that, hangul is the most difficult language that I have studied and sometimes I want to give up, but I´m so motivated to fulfill my dream that me is consolation.
Korean society is complicated and very different from Chile, that makes me wanting more leave Chile and learn different things, perhaps hate Korea but I will always have friends and family in Chile where I can return.

The best job

The job that I would like to have in a few more years is that of producing in my own production company and have direction and production role and be able to make my own audiovisual works.
Create music videos, short films, experimental videos and video art.

I want to have an independent job and be my own boss. Producer work is a very dynamic job because you have since needs to work in the office in front of a computer and making documents, but also has field work during filming.
Being a producer allows you to know different places in the world, since films can reach all sides of the world, participating in festivals as well as audiovisual markets, I hope that in the future my creations will allow me to know more about the world and different people .

In recent years I have dedicated myself to being a producer, general producer and executive producer however I intend to leave Chile to study.

I want to go to study in South Korea, because I think they have a very developed audiovisual industry compared to Chile, both in cinema and television and I think I can learn a lot from there. That's why I'm currently studying Hangul (Korean language).

My biggest wishes in life is to have independence in my job and be able to represent the subjects that I think are important. In order to achieve this, I need to learn and work much more.

Versailles Palace

Versailles Palace

This year, I had the opportunity to travel to France for free and visited many places in Paris. One day I dedicated to know the palace of Versailles.
That day I woke up early in the morning, I got dressed and set out,  I was taken the train ( RER) and after one hour I arrived at the town of Versailles.
The first thing you see when leaving the train station is a palace a golden castle, I felt so much anger in my heart because  my mind said :” Fucking europeans, all its riches were based on exploitation and theft.”
I had to alienate myself to enjoy the ride.
The line to enter was very long and the ticket was very expensive (23 euro) anyway I was there.
The palace was very big and expensive, I think i had never been in such a huge luxurious place, It's hard to think of something similar for latinoamerica.
I'm not good at walking but I gave the best.
I will always remember this trip because I do not have a great time, my hatred of the monarchies and  the unnecessary luxuries ity just made me feel stomach pain.

Versailles it's very very very beautiful but if you think deeply that beauty is not free.
