English for me

Sadly studying English at the university has been more of a problem, over the years I always had difficulty taking English and it happened that being in my last year of university I still had to complete a semester of English because I had to pay another year of university only for one subject.
So the English of the university I hate a little, over the years I have had several teachers of the subject and all had similar methods of teaching, with some games.
I think blogs serve to practice the writing of texts and also to be able to express more broadly the thoughts around an idea, however it also makes me tedious, but it is first because I am not used to writing.
This year I have struggled to take the pace of English classes, I think it did not die long enough, this year for me has been very moving in terms of professional work but I'm already ordering in the subject of English. I think one of the things that makes it harder for me in English is to speak and be able to express my ideas well. And I know that improves only with practice.
This year I have had to use more English due to my short film, to be able to communicate with people from other countries of the world, also to be able to watched Asian movies are subtitles in English. Really I have realized the importance of knowing other languages to film and be able to get your message across the world, so one of my goals for next year is to perfect myself and study much more English.

My career

I believe that the biggest problem that the cinema and tv race has is that there is no specialization of any kind, so we only know basic elements of each area of work within the cinema and television.
Commonly the student of my career hate it because the curriculum is very close to journalism and communication theories. I’m not part of those students because I really like  to study theory but I do believe that it is repetitive, since the different classes deal with almost the same information .

Another important element that would change my career is the amount  of time that they dedicate to theoretical classes at the expense of the practices, especially with the filming of the short films.
Juan Gomez Millas Campus Careers are the most precarious and up to the two years ago, my career didn't have the right equipment to teach.

Fortunately, they bought new equipment much more technological and I hope that the new generation come out better of technological knowledge of the race, because i believe that my generation doesn't have the necessary knowledge in the world of work.

I had to find and learn on my own the necessary things at the time I had to do my final short film.

In spite of all this, If i have to say something positive about my career, it would be to the amazing women teachers who have taught me; because despite all the inconvenients mentioned above the were able to teach a lot and very creatively.

Sofia Coppola

I am a believer that cinema is an art, a complex art with many elements.
The cinema - unfortunately - is a world of men in which there are few women who have the possibility to stand out.
To the filmmaker that I want to highlight is Sofia Coppola, yes, Sofia Coppola.
Ok, as an actress is not very good but as a filmmaker I can say that she must be one of the best writers in the world.
As I read in a magazine, Sofia Coppola is one of the few figures capable of transmitting the sensation of being alone in the world even if you are in Tokyo - a city of nine million inhabitants.
I connect with the Sofia cinema for its themes close to adolescence but above all for being films with feminine perspectives.
Sofia's films have different artistic elements that make me like them, the main one is the theme, however, it has other important ones that are related to the visual, such as textures and pastel colors.
The silence in his films, which many may find boring, for me are spaces for reflection, in spite of this, the films fulfill pop cultural elements and do not lose their cinematographic quality.
Sofia Coppola is a woman that I admire deeply, because despite not having had a good acting career, she was able to leave the shadow of her family, her father and be able to shine for herself.
If I do a ranking of my favorite movies of her, I rank "Lost in translation" first.
It's one of those movies that I need to watch once a year - or more - to feel happy and sad.
This movie made her an Oscar winner for best original screenplay.
If we talk about awards, she has been the only woman to win the golden lion at the Venice Film Festival, with the film "Somewhere".
Last year I won the Palme d'Or for best director at the Cannes Film Festival.

In summary, I think that synthesizes in his film different elements that make me like his movies and that has also been a good formula to reap great achievements.
